AVerTV Bravo Hybrid PCI-E:Allows Clear QAM support for Windows Media Center

We all know that Media Center does not “officially” support  ClearQAM.

But  AVerTV Bravo Hybrid PCI-E adopts the latest innovation ideas of Clear QAM tuning. Users can simply connect the coaxial Cable input (analog or digital) into the AVerTV Bravo Hybrid PCI-E to watch unencrypted digital contents as well as Schedule Recording and TimeShift functions right under their finger tips.

And interestingly this card  seems to allow ClearQAM within Media Center.

How To Do This?

According to  Felix Kolotinsky,Product Manager,AVerMedia Technologies, Inc. writing in a post here:-

“Please install Beta Drivers first, then run AVer_ClearQAM.exe to scan for Digital Channels (Please notice that with this Plug in you can only watch Unencrypted “Clear” QAM Channels, not your Premium Channels. Some of the channels that Plug in will recognized will be Encrypted by your Cable Company and  you cannot see then, you will have to manually removed them from MCE TV Guide. Also you can manually rename Clear QAM Channels in MCE TV Guide.

Please download Beta Drivers and Vista MCE Plug-In from the following FTP:
