Fixing “Files Needed to Display Video Are Missing or Corrupt” Error

The Problem:-

The following error message may appear when a user  is trying to view TV within Windows Media Center:-
Video Error: ” Files Needed to Display Video Are Missing or Corrupt .”
Why it’s happening?
This error usually happens when another software application tries to use the TV tuner card.
How to resolve this problem:-
Restart your system and re-launch TV  within Media Center.Does it help?If not then try the followings:-
1]You may try a System Restore.Select any restoration point when everything was just fine.
2]If you have SoundBlaster Audigy then you may have to reistall the audio driver and update the same.
3]Reinstall and update the TV tuner driver.
4]If you have recently installed software that have the capability to record from an analog source (streaming)-just uninstall that.
