Does Microsoft RT support Java?

-No.It doesn’t support Java.

Can it run third party desktop applications?

-No.You can’t install photoshop for example.

Which pen is supported ?

-Capacitive Pens are only supported by Surface RT while Surface Pro supports Digital Pen Input.Capacitive pens are available for purchase.

How much storage is supported?

-32GB, 64GB while in case of Surface Windows 8 Pro 64GB,128GB

How much memory is supported?

-2GB RAM,in case of Surface Windows 8 Pro it’s 4GB

What pixel is supported?

-1366×768 pixels while Surface Windows 8 Pro supports 1920×1080 pixels

How many multi touch points are supported?

-5 while Surface Windows 8 Pro supports 10.

Does it support USB 3.0?

-It supports USB 2.0 while Surface Windows 8 Pro supports USB 3.0

Can it sync with Windows Phone?

-Presently  it doesn’t support Windows Phone 7.5

Does the app store include adobe reader?

-Yes;The built in reader is included.

Does it support Flash?

-Yes but only for the trusted sites.

Can I add a language?Can I type in different language?

-Yes.

Does it support Office Access?

-No.

Surface with Windows RT supports only Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and One Note which comes with Microsoft Office Home and Student 2013 RT Preview.

Which apps are included?

-Microsoft Office Home and Student 2013 RT Preview1 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote); Windows Mail and Messaging; SkyDrive; Internet Explorer 10; Bing; Xbox Music, Video, and Games.

Can I use both cameras at the same time?

-Surface operates the cameras one at a time. You can switch between them but can’t use them simultaneously.

Does it support Windows Media Center?

-No.It doesn’t have Windows Media Center.In fact, you’ll need to use Windows 8 Pro, as Media Center

Can I connect it to a TV?

-Yes. You need to buy a Surface HD Digital AV Adapter

How can I share pictures in Facebook?

  1. From the Photos app, select the photos you want to share.
  2. Open the Share charm.
  3. Pick the app you want to share with (apps that support sharing are listed.)
    For example:

    • To post a photo on a social network, tap or click People.
