Fixing “Windows Media Player cannot rip one or more tracks from the CD” error

Possible solutions:-

1]Check the physical media i.e. CD -it could be damaged or scratched.

2] Enable “Use Error Correction” option.

a] Open WMP12

b] Go to Tools.

c] Click on Options.

d] Click on Devices tab.

e] Double-click the letter corresponding to your CD-ROM.

e] Place a check by the “Use Error Correction” option.

f] Click “Apply” and click “OK.”

3] Change the location

a] Open WMP12

b] Go to Tools.

c] Click on Options.

d] Click on Rip Music tab.

e] Under “Rip Music to this location”, see if the location is blank.

f] If so, change it to some other location.
