Problem:-
When I am trying to stream or,play any song via XBox music pass , I am m getting the 0xc00d11cd (0x8000ffff) error.
Resolution:-
In Search box type in regedit and press the Enter Key.
Click Yes to Accept the UAC
Open regedit and navigate to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Audio
Change the DisableProtectedAudioDG value from 1 to 0 and reboot.
In case of Surface RT You need to create a Value name DisableProtectedAudioDG with a Value data=0
