Fixing Error 0xc00d36b2 When Playing Certain MP4 Songs

Problem:

When attempting to play certain MP4 files I get the following:  error ” 0xc00d36b2.” If I close the file and reopen it plays fine. I’m running windows 8.1.

Resolution:

This may happen if the file names are too long.

To fix this issue check your music files in the classic desktop libraries view.Do they have extra long file names? If so,rename them and retry.
