I have found a nice tool for syncing my SkyDrive,it’s called syncDriver,it can even sync folders outside the root folder with the link a folder option.It’s a free tool and works great on Windows 8.1.Initially you need to sign in with your hotmail or windows live credentials then it will do the rest.
Many users don’t like to use Microsoft accounts and prefer local accounts for syncing to SkyDrive.And you may do that without installing any third party tool (if you don’t like to install any such),just use SkyDrive as as a network drive.. :)
