Hyper -V issue with Surface Pro 4

Problem:

Surface Pro 4 screen starts  flickering  and stops by itself after some time, when Hyper-V  is enabled.

Resolution:

Temporary workaround to this issue is to disable Hyper-V.

  • Type CMD into search bar. Right click on it and select Run as Administrator.
  • Enter in: dism.exe /Online /Disable-Feature:Microsoft-Hyper-V

This issue has been raised in various forums and hope MSFT will come out with a permanent fix soon.

Update:

November 2015 updates (For Surface Pro 4 & Surface Book fixed “HD Graphics 520 driver update (v20.19.15.4308) addresses some display issues, including some scenarios that result in screen flickering.”
