My experience with Edge after installing Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 15007

Excited to play with the latest  Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 15007.

Installation was smooth without any problem.

Here are a few lovely features in Edge browser.

Sharing your tabs:

Open Edge browser you will find Tabs you have set aside. Click on it to get all the tabs you have opened so far. You will get Share tab option.

You can also share tabs this way:

Open Edge browser  > Click Share tab  to get this feature.

Import from another browser:

Open Edge > Click three dots … or “More” option

Click Settings to get Import from another browser tab. This will allow you to you to bring your favorites, browsing history, saved passwords, and other data from another browser you have installed, in one simple step.

Web Notes -Full set of colors:

Open Edge.

Open any web page.

Highlight or select texts.

Tap the pen or highlighter in Web Notes, to get the  full set of Windows Ink colors. There is a slider also with which you can easily change the thickness.

Web Page zooming:

Open Edge

Click … dots or More button

You will get Zoom option. There are minus (-) and Plus ( + ) signs to zoom out and zoom in the text sizes. Pages are now zoomable to 1000%. Waw!!!

I wish the EDGE browser was more stable. I want to use it, but half the time when I go to a page it will hang; other times, it is just slow as molasses. For a while, it was having an issue with the google.com https redirect. I am glad they are working on it, but seriously, it just seems like a “piece of work”.

    For example, the logon process to post this comment DID NOT work in Edge. The Google Auth redirect just hung there in a new tab. Why are basic things like that broken?
