How To Disable Windows Update For Standard or, Non Administrative Users

Problem:

I have a third party app that installs Updates. I would like to disable the ability to manually update windows by non administrative users in Windows 10.

Resolution:

In Start Search type Gpedit.msc and press the Enter Key.

Now locate:

Under Local Computer Policy:

Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Windows Update

Scroll down to Allow non-administrators to receive update notifications.
If you disable this policy setting, then only administrative users will receive update notifications.
