How To Close Windows Media Player After A Song Stops Playing

Problem:

Is there a way to close media player automatically when a file is finished playing?

Resolution:

There is no such option available in Windows Media Player.

I shall suggest you to download and install  MPC-HC

It’s an open source media player and far better than Windows Media Player-it supports all the common video and audio file formats available for playback.If you install it and go through the Help file you will get all the command line switches you will find /close switch which will allow to close the media player after the playback (only works with /play command switch)

This feature is also available in Windows Media Player Plus! it has a ‘close after current’ feature.
