Problem: I am unable to install Version 24H2. It’ coming up with error 0xc1900208.
Resolution:
This error typically occurs when an incompatible application or driver is blocking the update process.
Go to Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters
Run the “Windows Update” troubleshooter.
If you have installed any third-party security software recently then uninstall that.
Open Command Prompt as Administrator
Run: DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth.
Then run: sfc /scannow
Ensure you have at least 20GB of free space on your C: drive
Run Disk Cleanup to remove temporary files
You can also consider in-place upgrade method. This will install the latest version of Windows 11 25H2.
Follow the instructions accordingly.
