Fixing wmploc.dll version error

Problem:-

This error pop-up keeps coming up whenever I try to open Windows Media Player:-

The file wmploc.dll has a version number of 12.0.7600.16385 where 12.0.7600.16415 was expected.

Windows Media Player is not installed properly and must be reinstalled.

Do you want to install the Player from the Microsoft Web site?

Resolution:-

To fix the above error:-

1] open Command Prompt in Administrator mode

2] Now provide following commands one by one:

unregmp2.exe /updatewmpversion
regsvr32 wmp.dll
