Acer Aspire v5-471g Not detecting eGPU

Problem:

I am trying to install e-GPU on my Acer Aspire v5-471g laptop but it is failing to detect.I have bought a adapter for USB to mini PCIe.

Resolution:

The Acer Aspire V5-471G is a relatively older laptop model, and it may not natively support external graphics card (eGPU) connections. To attach an eGPU to your laptop, you’ll typically need to have a laptop with a Thunderbolt 3 (or later) port or an ExpressCard slot. If your laptop doesn’t have one of these ports, it might be challenging to use an eGPU with it.

  • You will need an external GPU enclosure (eGPU dock) that connects to your laptop’s compatible port.
  • You’ll also need a compatible graphics card to install inside the eGPU enclosure.
  • Connect the eGPU dock to your laptop using the appropriate cable (Thunderbolt 3 or ExpressCard, for example).
  • Connect the eGPU dock to your laptop using the appropriate cable and updater the graphic card driver.
  • You may need to configure which applications use the eGPU.

Setting up an eGPU can be a complex and often frustrating process, and not all laptops are suitable for it.

How to retrieve VPN password in Windows 10

Windows 10 has its own VPN client. If you forget the saved VPN password you cannot retrieve it.

So, to retrieve the saved password you have to take help of a third party application known as Dialupass. This utility enumerates all dialup/VPN entries on your computers, and displays their logon details: User Name, Password, and Domain.

But there is one negative point-Some Antivirus programs detect Dialupass utility as infected with Trojan/Virus.Click here to read more about false alerts in Antivirus programs
