How To Sort Artists By Year In Windows Media Player 12

Problem:-

In Windows Media Player 11, I used to sort the Artist Albums by Year. But in Windows Media Player 12, it seems like I don’t have that choice anymore. It only sorts by Album’s name alphabetically.How can I resolve it?

Resolution:-

Unfortunately there is no such option in the Windows media player 12 to sort by Year.This is by design.

Open WMP12 in Library view and select Release Year to sort the albums by year.
