Problem:

I follow the guidelines in Download and install or reinstall Office 2019, Office 2016, or Office 2013 which state that I should :

From the top of the page, select Services and subscriptions

I don’t have anything at the top (checked 3 browsers).

I have a license for office 2019 and I would like to use it on my Windows 11.

Problem:

Whenever I’m working on my computer in the evening lately, I keep getting a warning that my server is going to shutdown at 7:00 PM.

Resolution:

  • Open the Task Scheduler on your computer. You can search for it in the Start menu.

Look for any tasks that might be set to shut down the computer at 7:00 PM. If you find any such task, you can modify or delete it as needed.

  • If your computer is connected to a network domain and managed by group policies, there might be a policy set to enforce shutdowns at specific times.
  • Contact your network administrator to inquire about any policies that might be causing this behaviour.

  • Open the Event Viewer by searching for it in the Start menu.
  • Look for events around the time you receive the warning. These events might provide more information about what’s causing the shutdown.

  • Sometimes, malware or viruses can exhibit unusual behaviour like scheduling shutdowns. Run a thorough malware scan using your antivirus software.
