How To Use To Use The Surface Ethernet Adapter with Surface RT

The original Surface RT didn’t have any Ethernet port.There was no support for USB-based Ethernet adapters.

Now Microsoft is saying :-”

  • To use the Surface Ethernet Adapter with Surface RT you’ll need to update to Windows RT 8.1 and check Windows Update.
  • The Surface Ethernet adapter is sold separately.

You can connect Surface to a wired network using the Surface Ethernet adapter.

How shall I play dvr-ms files or Recorded TV on Surface RT?

Problem:-

I have Windows Media Center on my desktop which is running Windows 7 ultimate.I wish to play recorded tv programmes done on my desktop on my Surface RT.How can I do this?

Resolution:-

DVR-MS format is not supported on Surface RT.So to watch recorded tvs (on WMC),you need to convert to mp4 files.Frremake is an awesome converter.There is also an app-Metro Media Centre
