You might also encounter issues with the apps you are attempting to print from. You might receive an error from the app or the app may close unexpectedly. Note This issue might also affect software-based printers, for example printing to PDF.

• Resolution:This issue was resolved in the out-of-band update KB4567523. It is a cumulative update, so you do not need to apply any previous update before installing it. To get the standalone package for KB4567523, search for it in the Microsoft Update Catalog. You can import this update into Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) manually. See the Microsoft Update Catalog for instructions. Note KB4567523 is not available from Windows Update and will not install automatically.

How to Enable or Disable SmartScreen Filter for Microsoft Store Apps

Let me explain you what is SmartScreen Filter first:

According to Microsoft When you browse Microsoft Edge then Microsoft Defender SmartScreen helps you identify reported phishing and malware websites and also helps you make informed decisions about downloads.

The same way it checks apps when you try to download any unknown app.

Here are simple steps to turn off or turn on SmartScreen Filter for Microsoft Store apps:

1. In Start Search type Windows Security.

2.Click App & browser control

3.Scroll down to SmartScreen and select Off

#Via Group Policy Editor:

In Start Search type Gpedit.msc and hit the Enter Key.

Now go to “Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Windows Components -> File Explorer.”

Locate “Configure Windows Defender SmartScreen” policy.

Double click to open.

To disable the SmartScreen filter, select “Disabled.”

To enable select Enabled. Now you will find 2 options from the drop down menu:

Warn and prevent bypass

Warn

Click Ok/Apply.

 

 

#You can do the same through registry edit also:

In Start Search type Regedit and hit the Enter Key.

Now locate the following:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion

Create a new DWORD value by selecting “New” and then “DWORD (32-bit) Value.” Name the value as “EnableSmartScreen.” Now, double-click on the newly created value and set its Value Data as “0.”

If You cannot Download Windows 10 May Update

There are 2 ways to download Windows 10 May Update the build 19041 and the version number is 2004.

The default option is to get it via Windows Update.

If  the above option fails then try the alternative method. Visit Windows 10 May 2020 Update 

And click the Update now button.

If you like to have a clean install rather than a upgrade then you have to download the ISO file using a A blank USB flash drive with at least 8GB of space

How to Phone screen Samsung J7 Prime

I am using a rather old android phone Samsung J7 Prime. I decided to mirror the screen of this mobile phone. So my first choice was Microsoft’s Your Phone App which is available in Microsoft Store and one can download it free.

Unfortunately the list of Samsung mobiles documented by Microsoft doesn’t include my phone. You Phone App works with selected Samsung devices leaving other popular Android devices out in the lurch.

There are many apps available which can mirror the screen of android mobile but I decided to install scrcpy v1.14

Steps to follow:

Download scrcpy v1.14 64 Bit

Extract the zip file

On my mobile phone , I enabled the hidden ‘Developer options’ by tapping seven times on ‘Build Number’ in Settings -> About Phone.  > Developer options from the Settings menu >  enable ‘USB debugging.’

Connected the phone with the PC.

Right click on scrcpy.exe and ran as Administrator.

The device’s screen got mirrored.

Google Photos Transfer Tool

Now you can transfer your Facebook photos and videos to Google Photos. The steps are damn easy:

1. Sign in with your Facebook account credential.

2. Click this link:

4. Now click on Choose Destination tab and you will find only one option Google Photos.
